Expectations & Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met before a physician will be considered for EACCP accreditation:

• Must be a licensed medical doctor with recognized specialization in obstetrics and gynecology
  
  
• Must have completed or hold formal national-level competence in colposcopy, in line with the regulatory requirements of their country
  
  
• Must be actively practicing in cervical screening, colposcopy, or the management of cervical lesions
  
  
• Must commit to completing the full EACCP accreditation program, including clinical and documentation components over a 3 year period
  
  

EACCP accreditation is available to eligible OB-GYN specialists regardless of country of residence or practice.

Ineligible Applicants

EACCP does not accept applications from:

• Physicians in other specialties (e.g., dermatology, oncology, general practice)
  
  
• Individuals without a specialization in obstetrics and gynecology
  
  
• Residents or trainees without completed specialty training
  
  
• Non-physician healthcare providers (e.g., midwives, nurses)
  
  
• Educational vendors or corporate entities
  
  

Those ineligible are encouraged to seek appropriate recognition through alternative programs within their own jurisdiction.

Program Scope

EACCP does not accredit:

• CME providers
  
  
• Institutions or hospitals
  
  
• Individual CME activities delivered by other organizations
  
  

Our focus is on accrediting individual clinicians through a direct, hands-on educational and clinical process.

Language & Documentation

• Applications may be submitted in English
  
  
• Supporting documents (license, diploma, certificates) must be verifiable
  
  
• EACCP reserves the right to request official confirmation from national regulatory bodies
  
  

Clarification of Scope

Although EACCP operates internationally, our accreditation applies only to those who meet the strict eligibility criteria defined above.
We remain focused exclusively on OB-GYN professionals performing colposcopy and we do not broaden accreditation to other clinical areas or specialties.
