Accreditation Status

What Accreditation Means

A physician accredited by EACCP has:

• Completed all theoretical and hands-on components of the program

   

• Demonstrated clinical proficiency through structured assessments

   

• Submitted initial case documentation in accordance with EACCP standards

   

• Committed to ongoing monthly submission of documented colposcopy cases for the duration of the accreditation cycle

   

Reaccreditation Eligibility

At the end of the 3 year cycle, physicians who have:

• Submitted monthly documentation without interruption

   

• Maintained clinical alignment with EACCP protocols

   

• Remained active in cervical diagnostic practice

   

…may apply for reaccreditation through an upgrade process.

Those who fail to meet these conditions must restart the full program from the beginning.

Loss of Accreditation

EACCP accreditation may lapse or be revoked if a physician:

• Discontinues case reporting

   

• Violates EACCP’s ethical or clinical standards

   

• Becomes inactive in relevant clinical practice

   

Reaccreditation is not automatic — it must be earned through demonstrated commitment and continuity.

Integrity and Verification

EACCP accreditation is:

• Personal – applies only to the accredited physician
• Non-transferable – cannot be shared or extended to other clinicians or institutions
• Verifiable – confirmation of accreditation status can be requested through official channels
